A New Addition

It’s official! There’s a brand new addition to the family and he’s making his way home on August 19th. That’s right, a brand new puppy!
Okay, I’m super excited for this and anyone who knows me knows I love dogs. Jes informed me a couple days ago that there were basset hound puppies available for sale in town and one of the types of dogs I wanted was a basset hound — the other type being a pug which we’re getting next year.
After talking with my parents and aunt they all agreed to allow me to get the dog — this was after I went and saw them which was a big mistake if I wasn’t allowed to get one. We then went back tonight to put a deposit to secure a pup and to pick one out — this took much longer than initially planned. I pretty much had my choice narrowed down between two of the four remaining pups, their current names being Domino and Dreyfus. Domino was the very first puppy that came to me when we first visited, he’s a little bigger than most, has spots (like a dalmation) all over his body and has the biggest ears out of all of the dogs. Dreyfus was equally cute and was one of the smallest dogs and had a face which resembles that of a beagle. In the end I chose Domino for the main fact that he was the first pup to me, his ears and his spots which made him stand out.
We’re still unsure if we’re keeping the name Domino but it seems to be the lead runner right now with other possible choices being Toby, Otto or Ringo.
Below are two of his brothers which are still available. The first one is named Dylan and the second is Jersey Cow as his black and white coat resembles that of a cow.
