Better Than Crabs

Well today quickly became the day to get Domino. From what we initially thought to be the 26th to that turning to the 19th I received a call on Friday (the 12th) that Domino was ready to come home. We currently didn’t have anything for him and I wasn’t sure what Jes was buying for him so I waited until she came back from Ottawa before making any decisions. We then purchased all the necessary puppy equipment last night and got our bundle of joy this afternoon.

Surprisingly he’s been pretty well behaved so far. We had him outside the majority of the day and he was getting used to his new surroundings. The saddest part of the day was probably when Domino saw his reflection on the porch door we just removed from our porch (obviously) and thought he saw one of his brothers/sisters. Dom would then run behind the door and under the deck but not see any other dog and start to wimper. We then decided to move the door so he couldn’t see himself anymore and this made it a bit better. He still wimpers here and there but I think he’s getting used to his new surroundings and he absolutely loves his new blanket.

The picture above was taken last Tuesday at the breeders with Jes’ camera however and shows the party animal that Domino truly is. Now who hasn’t passed out in their own plate of food before? I’ll be trying my best to take pictures as he grows and posting them here — or maybe I’ll make a separate page for Domino pictures or think of something or other.

And to Mr. Craig West, no I have not eaten him yet nor will I ever.
