Call Me Immature

Last Friday when we took Domino to the vet we were giving a medication for fleas or to prevent fleas or something like that. While reading the piece of paper that came with it this line made me laugh out loud for about 5 minutes. I then proceeded to tell others and laugh while doing it.

“…can also be used for the treatment and control of flea, tick and chewing lice infestations on breeding, pregnant and lactating bitches.”

I love “dog talk”.

On a similar note a couple of months back there was a commercial on the radio here for the US Army National Guard — being in a border city you get all the ads from both countries. The ad was basically a voice over but used dramatic pauses and I wasn’t really listening to the radio but a part made me laugh out loud again and also tell everyone I know.

The ad started and ended the same way with the voice over announcing:
Honour (long pause) Duty (long pause)

Now all I’m thinking throughout the rest of the spiel is “he just said doody” and just after I had that out of my mind the ad ends once again with Duty.

Pure classics.
