Fun With Movie Posters

Walking through the local movie theatre the other day Jes spotted The 40 Year Old Virgin movie poster and asked me how hard I thought it would be to recreate it. I said not hard at all. Sure I might be wearing a different colour polo but besides that I think I could get it pretty close. Basically I would need to take a similar photo on a basic backdrop, bring that photo into Photoshop, cut away the backdrop and add the same background (or close enough to it) of the original and wammo we have a poster.
This then got us to thinking of other posters to possibly recreate and how fun it’d be. Basically the goal now is to find some great movie posters that won’t be “that hard” to recreate, then recreate them, print them and have them hanging side by side. We think it’d be a fun way to decorate a rec room area of the house etc.
Basically I need ideas on posters now though. The more current the better as I have a way of obtaining the current movie posters for a nice cheap price known as free. I’m working on getting The 40 Year Old Virgin poster currently as well as other miscellaneous ones that are laying around the theatre, I’ll then go through and see which ones are good and which aren’t etc.
Current movie posters I already have in my possession are: Sin City (the common Jessica Alba poster - yes there are 2 different ones), Elektra (the poster we got from the Premiere in Vegas) and Kangaroo Jack (giant wall display). Now I don’t think I’d be recreating any of those, although they could possibly be funny (to see what the poster looks like follow the links in the brackets).
So if you have any poster recreation suggestions let me know and I’ll see what we can do. If you have any posters laying around you’re not using which are in pretty good shape send them my way and maybe we’ll recreate it.

Thanks for the suggestion Darcy but there’s a couple of problems:
1. the poster is quite complex to try to “recreate”
2. the movie is a bit old and it’d be hard for me to obtain the poster without purchasing IF I was able to purchase it from somewhere

What about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Edward Scissorhands? Big Fish? Sleepy Hollow? Oh, oh — Ed Wood! Man, I loved Ed Wood.

Holy suggestions Batman! Hey what about Batman? HA.
All good choices, others that were thrown out through IM were Anchorman, Mean Girls and Girl Next Door. It would be kind of funny if I was all 4 of the mean girls but also somewhat scary maybe.
Hard part is still getting my hands on all of these posters. Sure I can order them online but they cost money ($10-$20 US or so). I also have a friend who has scored me some from the theatre but not sure what he has for me yet, I just need to pick them up then I’ll be able to see what’s there and what we can initially start off with.
Remember the main goal is to recreate the poster but then have BOTH the ORIGINAL poster and the RECREATED poster hanging on the wall. So the ORIGINAL posters will be needed (not an image from the net unfortunately :S)
