Better Than Crabs

After searching high and low, near and far for a calendar featuring basset hounds Jes and I decided that we’ll make our own basset hound calendar featuring the one and only Domino. We decided this as the only calendar we found had all brown/white bassets and none of them really resembled Dom all that much. So now we’re trying to compile a good selection of pictures of the little guy in order to make a quality calendar. The picture above will most likely be one chosen as he looks great in it except for the “doggy green eye” which I’ll attempt to clean up.

So far we’ve checked out the calendar feature of Shutterfly and a calendar made there will cost us about $20 US but they have a buy one get one half price deal going on until the 19th. The only downfall is that their online software cropped some of the great pictures we uploaded on us cutting off Domino’s head and making the picture worthless :(.

Does anyone out there know of any other good “calendar” making solutions for a reasonable price? All pictures we have are digital and taken at 8 MP so they should be good enough to print 8.5 x 11 (or whatever size the calendar is supposed to be).

Does anyone out there want a Domino calendar?
