Hockey Pool Luck = Missing

I think I possibly just received a sign that I shouldn’t join hockey pools. I first started 2 years ago when hockey was last played. My 2nd pick ended up severely hurting himself before the season even began and I couldn’t drop him until midseason at our drop and pickup date.

Now it’s happened again. This time my 9th pick has just decided to retire. If you haven’t heard the latest news, Brett Hull has retired from hockey, I surely didn’t see it coming and I don’t think anyone else did either.

Add to this that I knowingly drafted two injured players hoping my main “10″ playing players would keep the team afloat until they made it back and now I’m in serious trouble.

Expected timeline for my injured players return:
Milan Hejduk (3rd pick) - hopeful return Oct 19 (last reported date)
Patrik Elias (10th pick) - out indefinitely with Hepititus — I was hoping out 1 to 2 months but now I really need to pray for 1 month for any hope of competiting in the pool this year I think.

Anyone want to be a hockey hit man for hire?
