Blog Betrayal

I haven’t written much lately, not as much as I wanted. I really don’t know why but I’ve been occupied with other tasks and trying to get things done for once. I need to turn the proverbial corner and get my ass in gear with things. Getting insurance should help this out. I’m aiming to have 3 sites up in 3 weeks. That could be a tough thing to pull off but I must do it to be able to move forward and actuall DO this thing.

This was a ramble, nothing special but I needed it written down to reflect on.

Have you titled this “Blog Betrayal” because you feel like you have betrayed your blog or blog readers? Blogging can be fun, but it is true that we sometimes feel pressure to produce for our friends and others who take the time to pop in regularly. I feel this, and feel terribly guilty if I’ve been ill, away, or just too busy. I do not like feeling guilty, Sam-I Am! When guilt hits I feel like washing my hands of the whole business, but usually just end up changing my template (like changing the paint?).

At times I think I really shouldn’t be blogging at all. perhaps I should be the reclusive writer, sharing my communication only through my books. I’ve been thinking this a whole lot lately.

I do enjoy your blogs, but don’t you dare feel guilty about not updating every day! Be brave. Just say No I Have Other Things Going on or I Just Don’t Feel Chatty Right Now or I’d Rather Hold My Breath Until I Pass Out. If you don’t feel guilty, maybe I won’t either.

I don’t have a guilt about not updating for readers, I originally set the blog up for me to got those things down I wanted to, share other things with people and hopefully get some input and have a record of what I’ve done, should be doing and should quit procrastinating on.

I was hoping to have something daily sort of like a daily log but in the realistic world sometimes it’s just impossible to do.
