INXS Switch

Well there’s been a whirlwind of media frenzy promoting the new INXS album “Switch” here in Canada lately as the band including new singer JD Fortune (who is Canadian) have appeared on TV all over the place. I watched none of it.
I did however catch mini glimpses of adverts for it and to my surprise (not that much but a little) they were playing a clip of INXS’ new single/video which is Pretty Vegas. Now this doesn’t mean anything to those who didn’t watch Rockstar: INXS but if you did you know Pretty Vegas (a catchy tune I admit) is the song JD wrote maybe midway through the competition which makes me believe that after he performed this song he was chosen as the new singer and the rest of the show was set up to try to get some ratings.
That’s my take on it anyway. And yes Darcy (Teddy) I know you hate Reality TV so shut up about it already

INXS sucks, and the death of their ” real ” lead singer only made them somewhat a bit more popular. The 80’s are dead and so is their music.
The new INXS C.D is on my album list just after the Donnie and Marie Osmen Xmas Collection.
I know Curt you wanted me to shut up, but this is after all a blog site.

HEHE. I didn’t want you to “shut up” about your opinion it was just the reality TV bit as I mentioned that in the above but the main point of my “blog” here was about the song and the choice. You didn’t talk about reality TV so that’s good.

I agree! Vile, Brain-smushing daemons! But damn, I can’t stop watching… (only some. I’m very particular).
