This Stuff Was Useful?

I’ve been done university for a year now and haven’t taken a class Computer Science related for 16 months or maybe more but last night once again I was cracking open one of my text books from “back in the day”.
As I get more and more into programming some web based applications or planning on programming the web based applications I began to realize that the information taught in classes like Systems Analysis and Software Development really was useful, even though at the time I was more worried about my next game of foosball in the lounge.
I don’t know if it was a mixture of me not caring, me being busy with other things (I was very involved with the student union) or the information being taught in theory and not in relation with a program/piece of software/development.
Either way, for some reason I understand it now. The majority of information makes sense and why you plan it out makes sense whereas in school it seemed like a waste of time. But I guess everything when you’re in school seems like a waste of time.
