A Media Darling

In addition to Sootoday’s early coverage which I discussed about ten days ago my “good news” has also been picked up by other local news agencies. About a week after the original press release from the NOHFC a separate release came out I believe from our local Member of Provincial Parliament. LTVnews covered the story with an article What An Opportunity!! and the Sault Star (our local newspaper) covered the story on December 15th with a story titled Plan benefits Sault young entrepreneurs written by Nicolina Lanni.

Nicolina then found me online through Murderfly Multimedia’s contact form and has requested to set up an interview to discuss the grant and the business.

Hopefully all of this name dropping and recognition from the various news outlets will help get the Murderfly Multimedia name out there and possibly some clients as well.

A side story which is quite interesting (for me anyway) is that the other person from the Sault who received the grant grew up 4 or 5 doors down from me and we’ve known each other since we were kids. It’s quite the nice coincidence and shows that not all of us in this end of town are “dead end kids”.

I am a local celebrity and I have the shirt to prove it!

Also, I’m still proud to be a “dead end kid” I look at the rubble across the street from me every day. Right now it’s looking very Christmasy/Holidayee (yes I made those words up) with all the snow on it and parts poking out here and there.
