Better Than Crabs

Starting last Sunday Loplops Lounge for me anyway. I attended Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with the new camera in tow all of the nights except Friday (which I’m regretting now). I was mainly taking shots for Case and Belsito as I’m working on their web sites and needed some live shots of them etc and the week also turned into practice with the camera as well. I’m still not that great with it but I think I’m getting better and some of the shots are pretty good (but I’m biased).

This then leads me to the real point of this post. For the past week we’ve been setting Jes up with her own blog and adding different little things here and there. She wanted a photo gallery to be able to display pictures of Domino of course and when I’m being lazy and want a quick answer I ask Kelli if she has any ideas on good software to get etc. She sent me a link to a solid gallery and I installed it for Jes today. I then liked the gallery so much and had about 200 shots on my computer from this week alone I decided to install it and upload some of the photography of this week’s happenings. I tried to get every musician I saw in one uploaded photo and I may have left some out but it’s not like they are reading the blog anyway. Also because of this some of the photos may not be the best but it’s all I had.

Without further babble I give you Loplop Week the first feature of Better Than Crabs’ Photo Gallery (you can also find a link to the gallery just above Main Page in the Category listing).

EDIT: I forgot to add that the pictures in the gallery are scaled down to 25% of their original size so that when I uploaded them they wouldn’t be huge. And in case any of you are complaining about the small “size” of the pictures click on a thumbnail and it’ll show you the picture “bigger” but because the pictures are even bigger than what the gallery shows you can click on them again and see the full 25% scaled photo. Does this make any sense? Who knows.

EDIT AGAIN: Also as a side note — the pictures that are up for this gallery have not been edited (lazy) and are how the shot was actually taken etc. I’m sure some cropping could have been done here or there but well I wanted them up now and not later.
