Better Than Crabs

After the hussle and bussle of Boxing Day shopping we decided to take Domino to Bellevue Park to let him run around and kill off some energy. Jes took him here yesterday while my house was a zoo and no one was there so we were hoping for the same so that we could let him run free out on Topsail Island.

There were people. Quite a bit of people. People skiing. People walking. People being people. We let him run free anyway. Out on the island area it was pretty quiet so he was able to run free. We had the camera with us and tried to take some shots. The picture above is up there simply because of his ears. As soon as I saw the pic I couldn’t stop laughing, it’s almost as if he’s preparing for takeoff. Silly Domino. That pic is also cropped etc to actually see the ears instead of all the scenery around.

One pet peeve though. There’s A LOT of dog poop out on the island. I can see you saying “oh it’s winter and no one is here I don’t need to clean it up” but come spring there’ll be tonnes of people out there again. The worst spot is probably on the path to the island. Iit’s clear that this path is used by a lot of foot traffic so pick up your dog’s poop already.

And that’s my rant.
