Better Than Crabs

After a year of not working a “real” job and starting up my own business I can finally say I’ve entered “debt”. Being a “lucky” or “smart” University student I worked while attending and was able to pay as I go so on graduation I actually HAD money. It wasn’t a lot of money but I was surviving. Until today.

Tomorrow the final payment of insurance for my business is due which is approximately $850. I have just over that in my bank account. I also receieved some money for Christmas which was supposed to go towards the house but well the insurance check was written in October so the money needs to be there. I also received a hefty Visa bill in the mail. A neutered dog, some dog food, server fees and a software purchase seem to have added up. I think there’s some other fees on there as well but the Visa bill is similar to the insurance bill. I also have some money on Mastercard remaining because of the insurance buildup due to the lateness on reimbursement.

So with my bank account going down down down and the Visa and Mastercard finally not being able to be completely paid off (which I usually do) I’m finally in debt.

But there’s good news around the corner and you’ll just have to wait for that.
