In the News Again

It seems that local “news agencies” just can’t get enough of me. I’ve now been covered (not really business related) on another “news” site.
In an article titled What Should Have Been in 2005 - Part 2 local singer/songwriter Chris Belsito fired back in the war of words and tried to pick on not only me but my beloved Domino. Who knew a basset hound could look so cute?
All press is good press right?

On, what the hell. I’ll give it a go, anyway. Someone (Chris?) please enlighten me as to exactly what the “Curt O’Neil Effect” actually is. I’ve heard it a few times now. I have my own suspicions… but enquiring minds wanna know.

Either Belsito or West (sometimes I can’t tell them apart) has claimed that when Curt shows up at a show, everyone leaves. The Curt O’Neil effect is especially evident when the crowd is thin to begin with.
Of course, I don’t count as part of the crowd. I’m media… the clinical, non-participating observer. As such, I’d have to say, there may have been something to that in the past but, lucky for Mr. O’Neil, he seems to have gotten past it.

I’ve been there to witness the Curt O’Neil effect, and I have to say, that sometimes even his rampant calls for more cowbell and incessant heckling of the bands fills those otherwise awkward (spelling?) silent stretches between songs….

1. Curt, I find it shocking and disturbing that you would adopt a pet solely because it bears a close resemblance to you, as BelsitoÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢s photos have indicated … I am sure the Humane Society would like to hear about you
