Not A Morning Person

This is a story to prove that yes I’m human just like you.
Today before work (very early in the morning especially for me!) after I brushed my teeth I went to squirt mouth wash into my mouth (of course). We have one of those push the top down and the mouth wash squirts out sort of containers. We also have a similar soap dispenser, smaller bottle but similar setup.
In my groggy morning state instead of grabbing the mouth wash and squirting that in my mouth I grabbed the soap. What is even worst is I didn’t realize this until the second squirt and not because it tasted weird but because I clued in that the bottle was the wrong size. This isn’t a simple mistake to make either as the bottles are on opposite sides of the sink and always have been I’m just not operational or thinking really until at least 2 PM. Who works at 8 AM? Really?

No, you’re not. You’re not human. Quit pulling our legs…

Haha, silly rabbit.
I get the slog-whackies sometimes too, but for me it is the other end of the clock. I’ve been waking at 5:30 all this week and getting up, not because I have to, but because I like it.
At night I fall asleep on the couch, and when Jim wakes me to go to bed, we have the oddest conversations…or so he tells me the next day.

Well, it’s a good thing I guess that you don’t keep cleaning solvents near your sink.

At least you don’t have my dad’s job. When he wakes up, he is woken up by a siren and has 30 seconds to get dressed and onto a firetruck driving as fast as he possibly can. That beats soapy mouth.

Then again if he had your dad’s job, he would be very well fed. Sirens be damned, those guys eat well.

WTF kinda seriously messed up mouthwash do you use? I’ve never seen any that dispense like that in the US or Canada.
Richard once sprayed himself with air freshener instead of cologne, though…. really not awake as those bottles hav nothing in common.

They make pretty big meals at work, but don’t get to eat them half the time. My dad is a twig so he can’t eat that much.

These days, most mornings at 8 a.m. find me under the palapa sipping coffee and watching the handsome young Mexican men build a garage across the street.
Does that make me inhumanly cruel? Ha ha ha

It does make you inhumanly cruel especially considering the past few days it dropped to a balmy high of -16 C and now we have probably 15-20 centimeters (6-8 inches) of snow on the ground and expecting another 15 centimeters today (6 inches).
