Better Than Crabs

A disclaimer to lead off. Young children may want to divert their eyes. Old people may also want to divert their eyes. Also these pictures were taken on Jan 27 a solid month after Christmas and a solid three weeks after any respectable place would take down their Christmas decorations. These were found in a local shopping mall which shall go unnamed (cough cough Welligton Square Mall).

What you are viewing is simply known as the “Reindeer Bidet”. Why someone would display such an act in public view I do not know. But then again this is Sault Ste. Marie we are talking about.

Walking through the deserted mall we were shocked at what we stumbled upon in the “centre court” area. First we were shocked that Christmas decorations were still on display then we became shocked even more when the fountain went off. POOF!! SPLASH!!! WISHY WISHY WASH WASH!!! A nice little washing for the trailing reindeer occurred.

Maybe the reindeer like it. Maybe Santa likes watching the reindeer like it. Either way I think it is wrong. How exactly would you explain that to a young inquisitive child?

“Daddy, why is water shooting up onto that reindeer’s winky area? And why does Santa have such a large smile on his face? And where is Rudolph?”

Now those are some questions I don’t want to answer. Do you? Didn’t think so. The only way to solve such a problem is to let it be known that such despicable acts are occurring. They could be happening in your city/town/neighbourhood/garage as well. So if they are, let it be known, take the pictures and put this problem out in the public eye so we can stop this once and for all.
