Startlefish - The New Spawn

Friday February 24th marked the debut of the new look Startlefish, although they did play an ad hoc show just before this, Friday was the official release. The new lineup consists of Craig West, Ed Young, Mike Robilliard, Shane Wigglesworth and Felipe Basoalto.

Once again I was in attendance with the El Camero and took some shots. I brought along all my lenses to see what else I could do. Macro Zoom lens — not good, too much low light, Canon 50mm quite good, regular Tamron 28-75mm lens trusty standby.

The lighting at Loplops seems to be fading away from the band and is causing some darker photos, maybe I’ll sneak in one night and aim all the lights or something, but that’s too ambitious.

    I`m very happy to see my friend Felipe Basoalto playing. I knew him in a trip to Macchu Picchu, Peru. He visited me in Brazil too.

    Can anyone help me find him? I lost his address and email.

    Hola Compadre!! Tanto tiempo!! Aqui estamoy en Sault Ste. Marie ON. Canada. Hace frio. Pero la casa esta calientita. Como estas? Como esta Luciana? Y Luan? Quizas ya tienen mas pequeños. La Caro y yo ya no estamos juntos, pero seguimos amigos. Sebastian ya va a cumplir 3!! Y su 1/2 hermano Jonas tiene 3 meses. Su madre Alexandra y yo somos muy felices!! Hace tiempo que no toco musica con mis compadres de Startlefish.

    Felipe,

    solo ahora vi su mensaje. Estamos todos bien. Todavia no tenemos otros pequeños. Luan ahora tiene 6 anõs e medio. Volvimos a vivir en Santos, la playa que tu conociste em 2002. Ricardo e Marly están casados e todavia no tienen niños. Rafael, hermano de Luciana, vive también aqui em Santos, muy cerca de nosotros.
