Obedience School - Day 1 - Domino the Basset
Tonight was Domino’s first day at obedience class. The picture above is him obeying the sit command while waiting beside me for our next instructions. If you were at the class this picture is probably shocking you right now.

Obedience School - Day 1 - Domino Lay down
Here we have Domino also “obeying” the sit command. Well at least he’s being still.

Obedience School - Day 1 - Domino is impressed Here is how impressed Domino is with his class. I can’t really blame him as I know for sure I’ve had the same “boring” reactions to a lot of my classes.

It’s safe to say Domino isn’t the top student in the class but to bring the Simpons back into every life situation he reminds me of Santa’s Little Helper and how well he performed at obedience school. Aww Domino, you’re making me proud, just where is that foosball table for us to skip out of class for?

And to finish day one’s summary I’ll end on a good note — below I give you Domino’s mastering of the “down” command.
Obedience School - Day 1 - Domino masters the down command - maybe not
Okay maybe he doesn’t quite have the hang of that one yet either.

Well the pics above are him “behaving”.

The instructor actually got out the lemon juice to squirt him with it. We told her he likes it and she didn’t believe us and squirted him in the nose. He licked his nose then just stared at the lemon bottle. He had the entire class laughing which is a good thing if he’s a comedic dog I guess.
