Get Me To Green Bay

It has been confirmed now that Brett Favre is returning for one more season. This season will be his last and I must get to Green Bay to watch one of the greats play on one of the greatest fields of all time (Lambeau Field for those who don’t know).

The magic with the Packers is that their home games have been sold out since 1960 and the only way of getting tickets is through Packer Fan Tours. They have many packages available and at different rates depending on occupancy (per hotel room if you stay at the hotel) for all the home games. My only problem is, now that that Favre has announce his final season how quickly will these tickets go?

I NEED to get to Green Bay.

Their home games are as follows: Bears (Sept 9), Saints (Sept 17), Rams (Oct 8 ), Cardinals (Oct 29), Patriots (Nov 19), Jets (Dec 3), Lions (Dec 17) and Vikings (Dec 21). The best “match up” to see would probably be the Patriots but honestly I don’t care which game I go to. Just to be there would be an experience of a lifetime.

If you don’t know I have an autographed Favre jersey framed and 40 Favre cards also framed bought for me by Jes.

So I repeat. I must get to Green Bay.

    I’d rather go to the September 19th game. Not as cold. If you want to go, get tickets as soon as they come out.

    I hope they have handicap or old people parking for Brent Favre at Lambeau.

    Hey Darcy, is Brent Favre a relative to Brett? Crazy stuff. I didn’t know.

    And the Bears, baha, but admittedly Favre had a bad year last year but he also had no one around him. When you’re starting your 2nd and 4th string wide receivers and have your 5th string running back (a guy not even in the NFL at the start of the year) doing the running. You’re bound to have problems.

    It could be worse though, they could be the Lions.

    I’m with Mr. Metro… the only green bays I’m familliar with are in Sylvan Valley in the summer time.

    So, did you sell your BBQ for a ticket to this Green Bay place?

    Green Bay, isnt it that hick town in Wisconsin with all the ugly smoke stacks where people talk funny and eat alot of fried cheese.

    Thanks for that link TK. I’ll def consider it, simply don’t have the cash right now unfortunately.
