A Great Canadian Athlete

Say what you will about him but Steve Nash has just won his 2nd MVP award for basketball (NBA) and he has done it in consecutive years.

This is quite an accomplishment for a Canadian considering that there are only a handful in the NBA and the sport is usually dominated by US born players. As we all know Canada is dominated with hockey players so seeing a Canadian excelling in a sport other than that is always good news.

Anyone want to get me an autographed jersey I can hang beside my Favre jersey?

    I don’t know. Maybe Steve Nash reads my blog. I don’t know why he wouldn’t read my blog, it’s a good blog.

    Steve Nash is great. Just consider some of the other players who have recieved back to back MVP titles
    Magic Johnson
    Moses Malone
    Kareen Abdul Jabar
    just to name a few
    I played a basketball game at Steve Nash’s high school in Victoria.
