George Bush Reads My Blog

Earlier today I made a post in reference to the gas prices going down as the Edmonton Oilers drive to the Cup progresses and soon after Darcy came on with a comment in regards to George Bush and the price of gas increasing:
“I also noticed that as [George] W Bush kept on invading countries the gas prices went up…”
This comment was made at approximately 2 PM EST time. When driving home from work today I passed those same lower priced stations but now they were selling gas at $1.105 CDN/litre which is a $0.13 CDN increase in under 8 hrs and assumedly (to make the point so much cooler) only 3 HRs after Darcy’s comment on my blog.
That Mr. Bush sure does work quick (when he’s not listening to a story about a duck that is).
And for my American friends who will say “pffttt, $0.10 in a day is nothing that happens every day” the conversion from litres to gallons will work out to something like $0.48 and I think we can all agree on that being somewhat crazy.
Now I know some of you may be thinking “George Bush can read?” and I didn’t think it was possible either but it looks like he can or at least he has someone who reads stuff for him. And it also seems like he knows where Sault Ste. Marie is or probably more likely pronounced Salt Street Mary if he actually said the words. I can just picture him in the oval office:
“We gotsta raise them there gas prices in that there Salt Street Mary place there. Those folks be bad mouthing me and my gas.”
Or you know, something else similar to that.
Okay so my Bush impressions aren’t the greatest at least he’s reading my blog.

I’m betting that he has someone reading it for him. Now you’ve done gone and insulted him. You should probably stay out of the American half, otherwise large men in black suits with equally large clubs and proportionally small penises will track you down and thump upon your head.
