Better Than Crabs

A very eventful weekend so far I must say and most of it with the camera in tow.

Friday night saw us head to Queen St. to check out the classic car parade which I snapped a few pictures of. Then when we arrived back home our friend brought over her bloodhound puppy to play with Fozzie and Domino (which I didn’t snap any pictures of). After that I headed to the Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion benefit as requested by Startlefish and well snapped some more pictures there. After all of that was done I went down to Loplops to catch Chrissy and the Warbling Huckleberries where I once again snapped some pictures (some of the worst of the night unfortunately :().

Saturday saw us rise early and venture over to the dragon boat races with Fozzie and the camera. Fozzie easily stole the show as I think everyone on the island wanted to pet, hold and take pictures of him. The poor little guy was worn out and simply crashed on my lap and didn’t wake up even though people were poking and proding him. I was able to snap some pictures of a couple of the boats racing (Loplops entry as well as the PUC’s boat — Jes’ work) which didn’t turn out “that bad” but I still need to work on my day time photography it seems. Jay Case, Startlefish and Big Wheel and the Spokes were all playing the festival as well but it was quite windy and we need to get some wood for the fence before stores closed so we headed home — sorry guys (although I did snag a few pics of Case’s fully bundled performane).

So expect all of these pictures to be making their way online soon, when exactly I don’t know but soon.
