Happy Birthday Domino

Today (June 24) is Domino’s 1st birthday. I really wanted to have a party for him but someone didn’t want to. Bah, maybe we’ll have one at another date. The fence isn’t ready yet anyway and no where near puppy proof yet so the party would have been a tough one to have. Although it’s getting there (about 2/3 of the yard is now covered). Unfortunately we’re not going to be here for the start of the big guy’s day as we’re heading to Birch Run for the day.
Also in other news I’m an uncle for the thrice time as my sister had a baby girl yesterday. Crazy stuff.

Curt … it appears as though Domino has a black eye … I can’t believe you would beat your own dog on it’s birthday … wow … happy birthday I guess … what are you getting him next year?

Okay for the record Jes took both pics, I can’t lay claim to them.
And Craig, a smart fellow like yourself I assumed you could have figured out his next birthday gift very easily. 1st birthday 1 black eye, 2nd birthday 2 black eyes, the 3rd birthday however will be tricky.
Also as a side note while we were out today Domino got his chain off the front steps somehow and roamed the neighbourhood for about two hours before Jes’ dad found him and brought him back.

I still think that Domino’s roam around the neighbourhood is the best possible gift. No one tugging at his chain, and he can sniff all the local dog butt. Sounds like fun to me
