Big Wheel and the Spokes - CD Release

This Friday Big Wheel and the Spokes will be officially releasing their debut CD Barley Soup for the Funky Ass Soul at Loplops Lounge after their set at the Second Stage.
Sure you may think they are calm and quiet fellows but as the picture here shows you need to be careful with your cell phone or else this may happen to you. As a disclaimer this wasn’t my cell phone, I don’t even own a cell phone. But I did receive a phone call at 3:00 AM from Jay informing me that they had this cell phone. Good guys those guys.
Anyway if you don’t already have the CD and you’re not planning on buying it at the Second Stage store make sure you get to Loplops on Friday night and grab it there. Tickets are $5 and I believe they are redeemable for merch as well.

It is a good CD. Have it my car. Listen to it on the way to and from work — basically beacuse my radio station is gone.

I usually listen to 94.5 Modern Rock the Zone out of Traverse City, some cars can pick it up here, others can’t. Mine could. Next thing you know a new station comes in under 94.5 based out of Mackinaw, this happened maybe 3 weeks ago. The worst part is it’s a 99.5 clone so now we have two top 40 stations, YAY!

I didn’t know if you wanted outted like that. So yes ladies and gentlemen it was Ross’ phone. Now they’ll probably steal it again.
