Blogelation - The Initial Event Thank Yous
Posted in Business / Geek / Music by CujoJuly 12th, 2006 - 12:12 PM
Well blogelation is due to be truly born tomorrow at 5 PM when the first bloggers start attending the Second Stage. There’s some loose ends that Craig and I are currently fine tuning in order to get the word out there that there actually is someone else getting the word out there.
Before this though I’d like to publicly thank everyone who jumped on board this idea with little to no questions asked:
- thunderbird six - Dave Brodbeck
- The Queen of Light and Joy - Jeannine Lillie
- The Last Word - Andrew Ross
- Canadian Mark (Canadian Dream In Action) - Mark Hohmann
- Chez Mandora - Manda Osborne
- Where The Walls Are Soft - Les Becker
- Rabsteen - Rob Coleman
Basically I sent out an email and they all seemed eager to get involved, who knew it was so easy.
I also owe a large thank you to Jeannette who has been working on the logo/ads for us and putting up with my picky attitude of “I don’t think that needs to be capitilized” or “I think the letters need just a bit more spacing” etc etc. I wouldn’t want to put up with me.
And of course to Craig who put me on the right track and said “let’s do it” (making blogelation happen) and “I’m leaving it in your hands” (the organizing of everyone). Okay, maybe more for the “let’s do it” part and less on the “leaving it in your hands” part.
Without this quick crew the week turn around wouldn’t have happened.
I also want to thank all the musicians that will be performing on the Second Stage as without them the idea to cover the Second Stage wouldn’t even happen. I’ll even give a shout out to the sponsors of the Second Stage who are Loplops Lounge, Lucidia Studios and the Speakeasy.
And as a last form of thanks I’ll thank Murderfly Multimedia because I can and that’s who I created the site under and where it is hosted so the business is doing something.
