Kevin Smith on Superman

I was reading Digg earlier today and this older (a few years ago) video was posted on YouTube where Kevin Smith goes on to explain his version of the script for Superman: Lives and why it never happened.Ã? The video is about twenty minutes in length but well worth the watch as it’s pretty funny.

For those who don’t know Warner Bros. has been trying to get a Superman movie off the ground for quite some time and Kevin Smith was on board around 1997 and 1998.Ã? You can read the fiasco that became trying to make and failing at making Superman on Wikipedia.

I also saw fit to post this now as Clerks 2 is opening up this weekend and I know there’s Kevin Smith fans out there looking for anything now.Ã? Maybe this will hold you over until Friday.

Also before anyone states it the clip is from An Evening with Kevin Smith DVD.
