Better Than Crabs

Last night was night one of the CD release for Soo Coustic. Soo Coustic is a compilation CD featuring a plethora of musicians from Sault Ste. Marie who play a variety of styles but all the songs are done acoustically.

I was at the event for about two hours last night and was able to catch three separate performances. Featured in the photos for this gallery are Kyle McKey (and band — in top photo), Doug Cousineau (photo directly above this paragraph) and Mark Dunn (below). I left early as I knew I had a long day ahead of me today and needed my rest. The show continues again tonight with a $10 cover (but free CD) featuring a lot of the musicians who’ve graced my photo galleries before Startlefish, Frank Deresti, Catherine Taddo, Lindsey Pugh and Jay Case to name a few.

The pictures in the gallery are a little washed out with red as that’s the lighting colour of the night, some of the pictures actually look pretty good like that though.
