Better Than Crabs

Last night was night two of the Soo Coustic CD release. I was more familiar with the majority of artists on night two so enjoyed that music that much more. Above is Frank Deresti doing his own thing, it’s not often that you’ll see a Frank show but he’s one hell of a performer and has some quality songs.

Jay Case was up next and played some of his songs you usually only hear during his solo acoustic sets. For his final song the electric came out and previewed what we were going to see when Startlefish came on.

Breaking the acoustic mold Startlefish performed their entire set electric and brought some energy to the show. The last performer that I photographed last night was Catherine Taddo. I’ve seen her perform 4 or 5 times now and the songs definitely get stuck with you.

I was having troubles last night with focusing the camera, I’m not sure if my view finder is dirty or if I wasn’t seeing properly. The weirder part is that some of the shots that seemed out of focus when I was taking them ended up in focus so it was a fight all night long. Let me know what you think.
