Better Than Crabs

So I’ve been keeping somewhat quiet about my latest camera gear purchase but it arrived yesterday so I’m letting the cat out of the bag.Ã? Recently purchased, backordered and delivered to my door were:

• Sandisk Extreme III 2 GB Compact Flash card — more pictures, this adds onto my Ultra II 1 GB card so I should be set for most shoots now.
• Canon 20mm f/2.8 USM EF Lens
• Canon Speedlite 580EX Flash

These new toys will be added to the arsenal for the next couple of shoots.Ã? I’ll need practice with the flash however as I’ve never used one before.Ã? I started experimenting with my 50mm lens the last times out to prepare for the 20mm lens so hopefully I can pull off similar results.Ã? I was debating between that lens and the Canon 85mm f/1.8 USM EF lens but decided on the 20mm from good advice by blinking8s, my personal camera guru.Ã? I’ll now have to save up for the 85mm or ask for it for as a gift in the near future.

With all this new gear coming in it’s almost time to upgrade the camera bag now.Ã? Not quite yet but possibly soon.
