Welcome to the OHL All Star Game

It was announced before tonight’s home opener for the Soo Greyhounds that the 2008 OHL All Star Game would be held here in Sault Ste. Marie at our new Steelback Centre.Ã? I have yet to be inside the building but from pictures I’ve seen as well as feedback from others it sounds like a great venue.

I’d like to take this time to congratulate all involved in getting this major sporting event to the Sault.

Hopefully this starts an influx of national events coming back to town so we can showcase what the Sault has to offer.Ã? Anybody remember when we hosted the Memorial Cup and the Labatt Briere?Ã? Why can’t we do it again (yes yes, size etc but we can dream).
