Domino The Early Months: The Movie

Reason number 89832 on why my MacBook Pro is awesome: iMovie.

I knew iMovie came bundled with the iLife suite of fun little tools on the Mac but I never had the time to sit down and play with it. After copying files over from my old hard drive and noticing some early movies of Domino shot with Jes’ HP850 digital camera I couldn’t help but want to make them into something for everyone to see. To tie them all together I could look no further than a fitting song that I had on my computer from one of my music classes at Algoma U.

So a couple of hours piecing some video clips together and adding a music track and I’m on my way to becoming a professional director. Right? Okay maybe not as Jes just spotted a titling mistake by me at the end of the video. Dammit. Anyway, let me know what you think:

I just saw the YouTube render and it’s a little rough. I’ll need to work on my saving options for the next video.

Too cute! I loved the part where he couldn’t make up his mind between the football and the tennis ball :-)

Thanks Anita. The choice one is one of our favourites too. He was such a silly little pup.

Thanks Tarellel, it was fun to make. Fozzie needs one too but I need to find the right music for it.
