Better Than Crabs

Saturday night saw a triple bill hit Loplops featuring Gates of Winter (above), IT and Startlefish.

By the time I was ready to shoot Gates of Winter announced they were about to play their last song. I rushed trying to get some shots of them so they are very limited in the gallery.

Next up was IT using their unique blend of music and visual imagery. The thing with the visual imagery (a projector screen) is that it was over blowing some of my shots from stage left creating weird back glows etc. However I was able to use the screen to my advantage for some shots as well.

And closing out the night was Startlefish mentioning just how good of a stocking stuffer their CD really is — I think you might still have time to buy one (depending on when you read this).

I was struggling with shots most of the night but still was able to grab some quick ones, I’ll place blame on the projector but I’m sure a lot of the blame falls onto me.
