Are We Bad Puppy Parents?

Domino and Fozzie - Basset Hounds

When Domino starts getting annoying when we are doing things, for example trying to put together a new shelving unit we just bought; we ask him “Where’s your ball?”

Dom will start to roam the house looking for his ball. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a ball. Does this make us bad puppy parents?

Dom does have a toy ring he loves to play with but we usually store it in the closet as after it is visible for 5 minutes we have a puppy power tug of war. Along with the tug of war is a lot of growling and sometimes barking. But the ring does keep them distracted if we need it too.

I also have to admit this post was just an excuse to get these newer pictures up of the pups. Does that make me a bad person?

    omg i couldn’t even read this post cause the pictures were so cute. they distracted me from the text. so hopefully you aren’t bad puppy parents, but my god you sure are lucky to have some cute-ass puppers.

    Thanks Ludger… I wouldn’t really say my dog pics are “professional” but I would like to get into animal photography so I guess it’s a start. I’ll be sure to check yours out.

    Soooo cute! I had to stop reading half way through and go play with my own hound. We played for 1 or 2 minutes, then he told me he needed a nap, and went to bed, so I’m back.

    HAHA. Fozzie is typical hound like that. Where’s Fozzie, oh he’s laying down. Then he’ll be hyper for 5 minutes, then lay down again. Dom is starting to slow down a bit but not yet. They are both cuddling on the couch right now though.
