Domino: Genius Basset Hound or Noisy Neighbour

This is a picture of Domino in the backyard yesterday. His new favourite past time is to sit in the middle of the yard (shown) and bark. He’s not barking at anything in particular he’s just barking to be heard, he might be saying some great doggy diatribe that all the other doggies in the neighbourhood understand but to our neighbours I’m sure it’s just loud barking.
He’s also a teleporter as well. Where I sit to do most my work I can see out the window and check up on what he’s doing most of the time by leaning forward. I heard him barking and saw him in his usual spot, I went to grab my camera to take the photo above and he was already gone. This time he was in the corner of the yard, same pose, same bark. I put the camera down and heard him barking again. Back to the middle of the yard. The picture above is washed out quite a bit as I shot it through dirty plastic covering a dirty window - it’s the North and it’s a form of insulation in the winter, much needed insulation.
In this very blurry picture we have Domino nursing his leg injury. We think he might have sprained his right leg when jumping off the couch due to a Fozzie attack. Dom was sitting in the chair very sophisticated with his arm in this raised position for about ten minutes - he ended up moving when I grabbed the camera and tried to take his picture.
More and more we’re starting to believe that Domino is some sort of genius dog who acts dumb to fool us at times. Based on certain actions you can tell he’s always thinking about his next move and his next devious plan.

Thanks for the compliment. These are actually the worst pictures of him I’ve posted I think. If you follow through the site a bit you’ll find some really good ones. He has a younger brother Fozzie as well.
He mostly sings when Fozzie is getting in his face and he’s irritated by him, it’s good times.
