PlugMyEvent.com DizzyTree has launched a new web application titled PlugMyEvent. The application is an online event management tool in which you can create an event and send out email invites to all those invited. If your event is a paid event such as a conference the site has PayPal integration built-in to allow you to receive payments with the invites as well.

It definitely seems like a unique tool and hopefully it will take off for them.

Disclaimer: I have done freelance work for DizzyTree in the past — no I did not work on this.Ã?Â

I see they are not quite ready with their demonstration video. I’d like to see what they’ve got. I know there are applications like this available elsewhere. A few years ago I ended up part of a house concert network. I vaguely recall seeing invites generated and emailed, and following a link to check out the application.

Yeah they just launched last week and I think the video is in the works when the time presents itself. It seems like an interesting idea to me and it’d be interesting to see if it takes off.

Pretty interesting concept for another Web2.0 site. I think I might have to try and signup and see what becomes of this idea. :-)
