Better Than Crabs

As a mini update I joined Flickr.

For those of you who do not know what Flickr is it can be best described as a social networking site for photos.  Even simpler it’s a photo management and sharing site.  You post your photos and others can view and comment on them.  You also have the option of adding your shots into public groups which help your photos get noticed by more people. The social part comes into play with contacts — you add people, people add you if they like your stuff etc etc.

I’ve only been on the site since the last day of August and already I’m semi-addicted.  I like watch the view count on my photos rise and anticipate comments from people I don’t know.  It’s a learning process as well as a networking tool that I hope will aid me in my photography.

I’ll still be posting my shots here as well as at white matte.  I’m using Flickr as another weapon in my war chest.
