Time of Ruin - Pictures

I shot the Sault’s newest metal band Time or Ruin on Friday, November 23rd at Foggy Notions. I wasn’t too big a fan of the shots that I had so decided to play with a bit of post processing techniques that I wanted to learn. I think the results are acceptible for a first try at it and at major post processing as well.
The first shot is actually the last one I worked and I had some ideas on how to improve the techniques I was learning a bit more. I went very over the top with the texture but I like it.
I have one more shot I’m working on but it needs some touch up work which is once agian a learning process thing for me so hopefully I’ll be posting that soon as well.

Did you read Two Foot Punch yet, Curt? You have to you know…it was because you kept saying “Hey, put me in the book!” that I did. Well…Cujo is in it, anyway. I’m sure you can pick it up from the library. If you do, let me know and I will tell you all the pages with Cujo in it. There are lots of them…now forget I said that, because I don’t want to give anything away.
It’s not a long book…you can read it between time to let the dogs out, and then back in again
You should also tell all your friends to read it…not that I would think of hijacking your blog to do that myself

p.s. Cool photo–I like that effect. Kind of like he’s playing through a thin spray of water. A recurring daydream of mine involves walking behind a waterfall and finding a cave, or maybe an opening to another world…I probably read a book like that ages ago, or perhaps it was a movie. I don’t know. In any case, that’s what it makes me think of.
