Saturday night saw a triple bill hit Loplops featuring Gates of Winter (above), IT and Startlefish.
By the time I was ready to shoot Gates of Winter announced they were about to play their last song. I rushed trying to get some shots of them so they are very limited in the gallery.

This Tuesday (Boxing Day) the Granola People will be releasing their latest album called Perspectives. For those of you who follow the blog you may remember I dropped a rumour about this back in October. Some of you were shocked and happy that the Granola People were still together and putting out Granola [...]

For the first time ever, Gravy has been caught on film*. Not the Gravy you’re used to but the new installment of promiscuous Sault musicians. Named after Frank’s favourite drink and Lindsay’s favourite meal Gravy can be described as an experimental band. I say that because I really don’t know what an [...]

Last night was Startlefish’s CD release party for The Debtor’s Heart, their second CD. Original plans for secret locations and mystery murders of audience members were put on hold as transportation and hitmen fell through at the last minute. However a solid show was put on for the appreciative audience.

Everyone’s favourite band with a fish name is releasing their second CD this Monday (that just might be today or already happened depending on when you’re reading this). The CD has been in the works since early summer and is finally ready to make it’s debut just in time to be the perfect stocking [...]

A winter trail… wait a second does that rock in the background look like a Domino? I believe this was part of the first set of shots uing the Tamron 70-300mm lens I have, as you can see I focused on the trees instead of the dog, good job.

Here’s the second installment of History of a Camera. I’m not sure what is taking me more time putting these up; thinking of a snappy title or searching/resizing the pictures for display online.
Above is Domino running wild on Topsail Island at Bellevue Park, we wouldn’t dare let him go anymore as he’ll probably jump [...]

History of a Camera: The First Batch

I think it’s only fitting that the first picture in this project is one of Domino. For some reason I didn’t save the first 47 pictures that were shot with the camera and this is the first one in the list.

History of a Camera: Writing Project

I’ll admit I’m borrowing the “writing project” idea from Problogger but the differences with this one are that I’ll probably have no one participating (besides myself) and instead of a single post I’m hoping for multiple posts from people.
What is the Group Writing Project?
The project’s title is History of a Camera. Now that [...]

Green Bay Greatness

Long story short the trip was awesome but the game was kind of upsetting.
Why was the game upsetting you ask? Basically the Packers forgot to show up and Favre got injured just before half time and didn’t return. Final score: 35-0 in the Patriots favour which also means no Lambeau Leap.
But besides all [...]
