A winter trail… wait a second does that rock in the background look like a Domino? I believe this was part of the first set of shots uing the Tamron 70-300mm lens I have, as you can see I focused on the trees instead of the dog, good job.

Here’s the second installment of History of a Camera. I’m not sure what is taking me more time putting these up; thinking of a snappy title or searching/resizing the pictures for display online.
Above is Domino running wild on Topsail Island at Bellevue Park, we wouldn’t dare let him go anymore as he’ll probably jump [...]

The Inner City Surfers played Foggy Notions Friday November 17. I’m finally getting around to putting the pics up. I’m actually happey with the way some of these ones turned out (compared to the earlier batch from their opener).

First off, I’m a little behind and I really need to get this picture set up.
This gallery if I’m being totally honest kind of sucks, I was just off during the shoot. I was trying some of my new equipment which included the Canon 20mm lens and the Canon Speedlite 550EX (my first time [...]

The first six minutes of the new Tenacious D movie was “leaked” out… viral marketing anyone?

This past Saturday everyone’s favourite funk trio Big Wheel and the Spokes played Loplops. Of course I was there with the camera gear and I even brought out the new stuff. Lesson learned number one: I need to figure out how to use that flash. Lesson two: I sucked that night for [...]

I’ve been a bit down lately but that doesn’t mean I can’t spread some humour around to friends.Ã? Check out this story, it ties in nicely with my “wanna be a rock photographer web developer” guy story.Ã? Well it doesn’t but musicians read the site and I’m sure they’ll like it.

Well here’s a general question to you, my loyal readers.Ã? Should I set up a MySpace page?
Am I for a MySpace page — no.Ã? Do I need one, no not really.
Why am I thinking about one?
I’m moving forward with my photography more and more and looking at shooting bands more and more and [...]

This past Saturday the Granola People played a to a full house at Loplops Gallery and Lounge. I alluded to this gallery late last week and I finally had time to sort through the photos and upload a select few. Some are funky, some are artsy, some are functional yet they all have their own appeal. This was done as a photography assignment for Stereo Soul Studios as they needed [...]
