As a disclaimer I am in no way a cat guy. I love dogs and dogs it is but this site has occupied my time quite a bit the past few days.
I Can Has Cheezburger?
I could probably try to explain it but I won’t. You must visit. After going through the first couple of pages just hit the random button. It becomes addictive.
And to get you started here are three quick selections: for the Star Wars fan, for the gymnastics fan and for the potty humour fan.

Sunday afternoon we drove North to Batchewana Bay and more specifically Chippewa Falls. I’ve wanted to shoot the falls since last summer and this is the first time we had the chance to go up. The falls were not free flowing like they would be after the spring melting but it was still an experience anyway. Above you see a butterfly. I stumbled across a number of butterflies while walking out on some rocks finding a good location to shoot what waterfalls still exhisted.

Today while driving the dogs to the park Domino decided to be a daredevil. While driving through the park to get to where we usually take them for a walk Domino decided to jump out of the back window of the car while the car was still driving and run along beside it.
I was holding his leash in the front seat as they run around the back seat quite a bit and this usually prevents them from doing it. The only reason why I knew he jumped out is because the people on the side of the road started yelling for me to stop and that he was running beside the car.
They told me he jumped out and rolled when he landed head first but was right up and running. He ran around the park for an hour and a half after that and seems to be doing fine now. He’s one crazy dog that’s for sure.

I’ve gone and done it. The new photo blog is up but in “beta” form as I’m using a stock template right now but will work on a custom one in a short period of time.
The top secret picture mentioned in this post is the first picture up.
Head over to white matte now, bookmark it, subscribe to it and link to it. Tell your friends.

It’s been awhile since we’ve featured the hounds so here is a mini post of them. Three of Domino in the backyard after his bath and three of Fozzie roaming at Bellevue Park. There’s a top secret Fozzie picture that’ll be displayed at a later date. It’s from this set but I like it so much it deserves something special.

Pictured above is the Norgoma at the dock by the Roberta Bondar Pavillion. The Norgoma is now a museum ship that makes crazy ghost noises when you’re freaking yourself out walking around alone at 1 AM.
I started a mini little experiment for myself in night photography. Working night shifts at my new job is perfect for this as I walk around usually between 12:30 and 2 AM on my lunch break trying to find things to shoot and trying to figure out what settings work best on the camera.

This Tuesday illScarlett played one hell of a show at the Speak Easy — it is unfortunate that more people did not show up for it. I had the pleasure of obtaining a press pass for the event and I thought I’d use the opportunity to the best of my ability. I believe these are some of the best shots I’ve taken in awhile.

On Tuesday night the Economy Studs opened for Ill Scarlett. Pictured above is drummer Robbie Adamson. On a side note Robbie also currently has a display at Loplops featuring his single frame comics Stupid Dummy Headz, go check it out.

Big Wheel and the Spokes played Foggy’s this past Saturday. I swung by on my lunch break to take some quick pics. I must say I’m quite happy with the results.

So we’re heading on a road trip tomorrow and what is the essential necessity for any road trip — CDs of course.
A couple of weeks ago I opened my centre console of the Murderfly-mobile to realize that I am a number of CDs short. Where could these have gone?
Three CDs still remain in the console with five that I can think of missing.
Here’s where the weird part kicks in. The five missing CDs are Startlefish, Big Wheel and the Spokes - Barley Soup for the Funky Ass Soul, Granola People - Perspectives and Chris Belsito (In Camera and Turbulence). My car is always locked no matter where I go and there are still CDs in the console so it is hard to assume theft.
It also seems that whoever or where ever the CDs went to they went to a local music connaisseur as all are local original artists but if that is truly the case then why is the Granola People 2004 release Blur still remaining in the console?
Can you solve my missing music mystery?
